Mini Seedcamp Singapore is a one day event aiming to connect the 20 best web-tech, mobile and software talent with some of the leading entrepreneurs, developers, and experts from the Asian and European tech ecosystems. Having its origins in Europe, Seedcamp is a seed fund which holds week-long mentoring and pitching events in London (Seedcamp Week) with one-day ones (like this Singapore event) as mini versions that are held beyond London, across Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA). We have been waiting with bated breath for the first round of investments coming from the National Research Foundation (NRF) Technology Incubation Scheme’s (TIS) incubators. In line with their Rise Above campaign, Martell VSOP introduced The Ultimate Start-Up Space (TUSS) in January.
The campaign aimed to provide a platform for entrepreneurs to share their ideas about how best to use The 760 sq ft Ultimate Start-Up Space in Clarke Quay and ultimately reward them by providing additional support and funding to turn their ideas into reality.
The Martell VSOP Ultimate Start-up campaign was partly inspired by the exploits of its founder, Jean Martell,
who arrived from Jersey in 1715 and founded the House of Martell in France at the age of 21.
