Singapore GovCamp – 19 Jan

This first ever Singapore GovCamp will see participation from government, industry, media and new media, civil society, and non-traditional groups that seldom come to together in one room to discuss the different ways Gov 2.0 could improve citizen engagement and services.
Many governments around the world are proactively planning on improving their public private partnership, citizens engagement and empowerment “Gov 2.0” is designed to specifically connect Government with the general public and private sector to communicate, collaborate and co-create government citizen services, improving and expanding citizen engagement and empowerment.
Organised by NUS’ Institute of Systems Science, Lee Kuan Yew School of Public Policy and Microsoft, the event will kick start with a general session of thought leaders on Gov 2.0. The second half of the day will see 2 breakout panel discussions on : Co-Creation & Connection to align with the Singapore government’s collaborative initiative.
