A guide to co-working spaces in Singapore

October 11, 2011 by     Email the Author

Co-working spaces are sprouting up all over Singapore, giving startups more options when it comes to cheap office spaces. The latest to emerge is Cowork@SG, which will be located in Joo Chiat, the eastern part of Singapore.

It is slated to open in mid-October, and will have room for about 20 desk spaces. Their second coworking space, which is much bigger, will open in early 2012 in Geylang.

Cowork@SG is co-founded by Bernie Chew, who left the corporate world to start her own business in 2010. However, finding it tough to go alone, she sought support in a another startup founder.

She hopes to replicate that spirit by starting this new co-working space. “Working independently does not mean working alone,” she writes, “we bring you the social, and you just take care of your business.”

But with so many co-working spaces in Singapore, it’s hard to find the right one to match your needs. To help you out, we’ve created a Google Map that serves as a guide with key information on the various spaces (also read our articles about Kennel, Startup@SultanCo-Working@dolphnSIX and others).
