Strongest Lineup of Start-ups Ever at Echelon 2012

SINGAPORE, 31 May 2012 – e27 today announced its strongest ever line up of start-ups at the upcoming Echelon 2012 event, Asia’s leading tech start-up event which will be held in Singapore at the University Cultural Centre, National University of Singapore, on 11 and 12 June 2012.
This year’s conference, Echelon 2012 will feature 50 start-ups from 10 different countries.
Taking part in this years Echelon event are a diverse range of start-ups hailing from countries like Japan, Korea, India, Philippines, Vietnam, Indonesia, Thailand, Taiwan, Hong Kong, Malaysia and Singapore.
Such start-ups include:
Perx (Singapore) – an application that makes customer loyalty simple, secure, and smart (invested by Eduardo Saverin)
Between (Korea) – a private social networking service for couples
Beatrobo (Japan) – a social music community that allows you to discover music from friends and provides a robot avatar that contains your playlists.
Mobil9 (Malaysia) – an open, local and social app store for discovering and delivering mobile content.

Echelon is a conference that brings together a plethora of perspectives on tech entrepreneurship while providing a platform for emerging companies, industry experts, entrepreneurs and investors to connect and take action.
This year’s conference brings together a diverse range of speakers from Silicon Valley and Asia, focusing on key startups issues such as scaling and investments.
Kicking off Echelon 2012 is a keynote by David Kadavy, Author of “Design for Hackers”, who will share on “growth hacking”. This will be followed by a panel discussion on Startup Scaling that features panelists such as Brian Wong, Founder of Kiip, who was among the youngest to raise venture capital in Silicon Valley at age 20, John Fearon, Founder of Dropmysite, Bart Myers Senior Director at Rovi, and Cjin Cheng Co-founder of Cubie Messenger.
