Payroll Hero announces advisory board that includes Eric Ries and Ryan Holmes

Payroll Hero, a Philippines-based startup that has created a payroll management app  for businesses (product feature), has unveiled its advisory board.

It includes Silicon Valley technology luminaries Eric Ries, author of The Lean Startup; Ryan Holmes, co-founder and CEO of Hootsuite.com; Kartik Raghavan, senior advisor at Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation; Alex Robinson, a product lead in cleantech software startups; and Mark Goines, partner at Morgenthaler Ventures.

The startup is founded by serial entrepreneurs, Mike Stephenson and Stephen Jagger, who have started three businesses together since 2000. They are currently raising a round.

Their product is still in beta, but it counts Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf in the Philippines as a customer, amongst others.

Payroll Hero was one of the top ten finalists at the Echelon 2012 Launchpad, a pitch competition in Singapore.
