Speakers’ information:

Mr Alex Lo is the founder and Chief Executive Officer of TechSource Systems Pte Ltd, a local company distributing high end computing R&D software to Research Institutes, Universities and MNCs. He also founded ActiveMedia Innovations, a leading high technology training company and i-Math Pte Ltd, which distributes high end didactics and complex analysis software tools. He also serves in his personal capacity at charitable and non-profit organisations.

Mr Andrew Chow is a Social Media & Public Relations Strategist, Certified Life Coach, Entrepreneur, Speaker and Author in Singapore. The serial entrepreneur founded IdeaMart in 1994 and another 4 social networking portals with over 10,000 profiles, and won the Spirit of Enterprise award in 2008 and Successful Entrepreneur Award in 2010. Andrew had more than 250 interviews and features about him or his business since 2005 from more than 40 local and regional media. His ebook “Romancing the Media” has helped many Small Medium Enterprises to master the art of engaging the media for publicity to bring their business to the next level.

Background of 55@SP

55@SP is a series of Entrepreneurship & Industry Talk sessions with the aim of equipping aspiring entrepreneurs with skills and information in starting a new venture. They are given the opportunity to meet successful entrepreneurs and to network with like-minded people over gourmet coffee at the tranquil surroundings of InnoVillage@SP. 55@SP is held on the last Friday of the month (except December). The sessions are held on the even month of the year.
