TechTalks.ph introduces Startup Camp: Fundraising in Silicon Valley
July 4, 2012 by Stephanie SUTANTO
TechTalks.ph is proud to announce a meetup featuring Philip Stehlik, CTO of Taulia, as a guest speaker!
Come July 10-11, Philip Stehlik will be visiting Cebu to meet the startup community and do some one-on-one consulting chats with startups.
As CTO of Taulia, a successful startup company offering finance-related solutions to SAP customers, Philip will share his experiences and provide a basic overview of the startup funding process in Silicon Valley. This will be especially important and relevant to those of you who are aiming to build globally-competitive products.
Here are some key issues the meetup will discuss:
- What is a Term Sheet?
- What is an Option Pool?
- How is the process done (from the thought of “we need money” to “Series A raised”)
- What is Series A?
- What tools are used to raise and create awareness (angel.co, for example)?
- Why is a CTO talking about Funding?
