JFDI-Innov8 graduate FetchFans raises 567K

While we know that a few graduates of the concluded JFDI-Innov8 bootcamp class of 2012 has had investment offers, it is social media marketing company FetchFans who has definitively announced follow-on funding of SGD 720K (USD 567K).

Led by investors Lawrence Seah and Yeo Choon Leong, the funds raised by the company will go towards new operation hires, marketing, sales and channel expansion in Asia Pacific and the US. Apart from their Singapore-based headquarters, FetchFans already has offices in the US (Florida and Michigan) and Australia (Sydney and Melbourne).

JFDI is a technology startup accelerator program in Singapore in the likes of US’ TechStars and YCombinator. Its first batch of participants hailed from 10 countries and demoed 11 prototypes after 100 days of the bootcamp. Prior to attending the JFDI-Innov8 bootcamp, FetchFans also previously pitched at DEMO Spring 2011 in California.

Clients of FetchFans include brands in the real estate and US multifamily housing sector: Keller Williams Realty International, Berkshire Property Advisors, Fairfield Residential. Singapore-based media company, Singapore Press Holdings (SPH) is also a customer, enabling FetchFans to work with popular magazine titles such as Her World, Men’s Health and Golf Digest across five Asian countries.

She has also spoken in Hong Kong at one of its largest youth conferences, MaD Asia, and was recently in Austria to help envision the future of the country's economy in 2032 on invitation from an Austrian governmental organization.
