Gushcloud is a web and mobile (iPhone app) social network where users collect and share their feelings about music, movies, online articles, pictures and more. It also aims to connect users with brands in a meaningful way. Users build up their personal brand and reputation by sharing ‘gushworthy’ content. Brands can then reward or invite them to participate in online campaigns. For brands, Gushcloud helps to build awareness among consumers through social media.

Gushcloud launched in October 2011 and unveiled a revamp in July 2012. For 2 weeks in June, Gushcloud’s access to Facebook’s API was revoked for violating its terms of service. Access was reinstated following discussions with Facebook, although all Facebook campaigns on Gushcloud were removed.
