Singapore Polytechnic will hold their 2^nd Media and Communications Conference entitled “Click to Connect”, starting from this Monday and ending on Friday. This time, they will focus on media content creation where marketers are changing the way they create content for their target audience, and constantly looking at innovative ways to connect with their audiences.

Girls in Tech Singapore’s “Entrepreneur Superstars” panel & launch party – 15 Feb

Girls in Tech Singapore will have a panel discussion and launch party on day three of Social Media Week. The evening will consist of a celebration of women entrepreneurs, business owners, and technological achievements and advancements. It will showcase women who are making waves in Singapore.

Our Editor-in-Chief, Gwendolyn Regina Tan, Jessica Tan of Microsoft Singapore, Meri Rosich of Splaype, and Audrey Tan of PlayMoolah are the speakers of a panel discussion with various topics such as best practices, trials and tribulations of launching a startup, what it’s like to be a women in tech, and building a business from scratch. The panel discussion will be moderated by Adriana Gascoigne, founder and CEO of Girls in Tech.

Girls in Tech is a social network enterprise focused on the engagement, education and empowerment of like-minded, professional, intelligent and influential women in technology.

Free workshop on Windows Phone ‘Mango’ development – 8-9 Feb

This upcoming Wednesday and Thursday, Nokia Developers Singapore-Malaysia will have an “Introduction to Windows Phone ‘Mango’ Development”. Prior to Valentine’s Day, SG Geek Girls, an initiative by our writer Joyce Huang, will bring together female entrepreneurs who relentlessly pursue their dreams and passions. During the session, Goh Yiping of All Deals Asia and Human Network Labs, Lee Min Xuan of PlayMoolah, Angline Tham and Tian Qiuyan of Sold.sg will share their stories and shed some light on issues like idea validation, hiring, developing & scaling your product, fundraising, marketing and just about any other question you might have in mind.
