While all is true, there are the challenges that entrepreneurs face in the long tail

1. Sell a few of many is not easier than selling many of a few.
Just because it is twisted around does not mean it is easier, just another set of challenges to solve.
For example retail problem is replaced by distribution problem.
Take the case of Amazon, they now don&#039;t have to find location for bookshop but then have to  figure out how to send the book efficiently.

2. Companies at the top are going down the tail.
It is not as if the companies that the long tail is going to topple is standing still. They have acces to the same technology that enable the long tail. And they probably have more money.

3. It is not about &quot;disruptive&quot;
Many people are caught up with the another buzzword &quot;disruptive technology&quot; and think up models that tries to turn the world upside down. I think not.

4. It is not about &quot;something special&quot;
Because way down at the long tail someone is looking for a gadget that dig his nose does not mean that you should build one.
Even if you do, you better be building gadgets that dig ear, scratch head, rub tummy, wipe backside. Because it is about sell a few of many.</description>
