Nice article indeed. I would like to make a small correction however, now it is possible to set up a WFOE as an individual investor, without using a foreign company as its parent company.

Hi Kenneth,

We have a webhost company already registered in Singapore. Given the fact a webhost company has no boundaries on the internet and normally would be able to sell services world wide, and bills are usually issued from the company from the location of registered company.

I am intending to setup a web consultation company in shenzhen. How can I go about to use hongkong as a legal entity to sell services in shenzhen.

Can I bill the client directly from hongkong?
Can I do marketing (etc pamplets/direct approach)? Can I hire a sales staff in shenzhen?

Possible to recommend a company to assist in the process of registration?

Thank you for giving me an insight on this avenue.

Regards
Steve

Hello Kenneth,

I found your site SG Entrep. and I thought you might be able to help me with a question.

I have a Hong Kong company set up and I will be looking to source products in China and Asia for a client in Europe. I do not have an export licence currently.

Can my Hong Kong company purchase goods from a Chinese business and as part of that contract request that delivery be made to Europe i.e. get the supplier to raise shipping consignment using their export licence to get the goods to Europe.

Would that be possible ? Can you advise if other method ?

Thanks Kenneth, I would appreciate any comments.
