You can use your computer as a fax machine. There are good programs that have been developed for this particular purpose. With a home computer, a modem and a telephone line, you can easily send and receive faxes without a dedicated machine.

As Jenny mentioned in the comments, clients are better off paying a little more to have an executive virtual office, one you would not be ashamed of to have meetings in with your clients.
There are many high-end virtual offices available in Singapore for approx. $300/month.

A tip for all of you reading this article…

Many will quote you a very low entry cost, S$20 and under but in reality it would be better to have spent this money month on lunch.

For the low cost options, I would be ashamed to bring my clients to there offices and staff was very poor.

I would recommend you pay a little bit more and get something better for your money, select an international firm like Servcorp at Suntec Towers (www.servcorp.com.sg) or Regus at Singapore Centennial Tower (www.regus.com). I have used both before and found them to be excellent.
