The Long Tail Is Getting Fatter by Duncan Riley of TechCrunch offers some interesting examples of new companies which might attain success with the fattening of the long tail.

LEADER OR LARGEST? Decide and go for one and ADDING A MISSING FOUNDER PARTNER: How much do they cost? by John Nesheim. The first article talks about whether you have to decide whether your company is the leader in the industry or play the alternative to the number 1. The second article talks about adding a member to the founding team, and offers some thought on equity distribution.
