BTIC 2012 infuses the Silicon Valley spirit into Vietnam

Organized by Becamex and Technology & Innovation Center, BTIC 2012 is a conference that aims to gather Silicon Valley spirits, innovations and creativity to the technology industry in Vietnam. BTIC hopes to connect fellow entrepreneurs, especially within the Vietnamese entrepreneurial scene, to established and experienced Silicon Valley innovators.

A list of renowned entrepreneurs is slated to share their insights and experiences. They include Dale Herigstad, Futurist Designer of the famous Minority Report interface, Ed Fries, creator of xBox, former Vice President of Microsoft, and Jerry Gramaglia, Chairman of Acxiom. The conference will also feature established Vietnamese entrepreneurs who have had experience or knowledge in the Silicon Valley, including Nam Do, co-founder of Emotive Systems Inc., Henry Nguyen, Managing General Partner, IDG Ventures Vietnam, and Le Hong Minh, Founder and CEO of VNG Corp.

The conference will also include a showcase, which will exhibit various start-ups. Start-ups interested in signing up for the showcase may register here.
