Project:Senso, an online portal for entrepreneurs in Asia had launched its revamped website on Singapore’s National Day with a BBQ cum networking and fireworks watching session on 9 August 2006. Here is a short review from Emily, editor from Project Senso about how the event transpired.
More than 40 people turned up for the event with people from various professions and industries, some employed and some already established entrepreneurs. The event had provided the opportunity for people from various walks of life to mingle and get to know others while enjoying the serenity of watching NDP’s fireworks from the Penthouse of Sim Lim Tower and the show being projected from a projector in the BBQ area. Some came armed with business cards to exchange useful contacts while some took the opportunity to break free from the daily mould to meet new people. From the cards exchange, the event was fruitful for people who want to expand their network circle be it professionally or personally in an informal settings. Various business ideas among the students and entrepreneurs were exchanged too.

Photos of the event can be viewed via their website. Stay tuned for more events and check out more entrepreneur and business information which is updated constantly on their website. Also, feel free to post in the forums or contact the Project:Senso team directly if you need help on any entrepreneur activities or if you would like to be featured on the website. It could be your first step to your first million.
