Microsoft Mobile Incubation Week – 25 May to 1 June

If you are planning or in the midst of developing a Windows Mobile application, nominate yourself for Microsoft’s Mobile Incubation Week. Get hands-on Windows Mobile technical training from Microsoft’s trainers themselves. There will even be a prize at the end for one team.

This Microsoft Mobile Incubation Week will be the first in Singapore and will take place from 25th May to 1st June.

The event will feature 3 days of Windows Mobile technical training, touching on topics such as Mobile Data Synchronization, Mobile Data Storage, Managed Development, Widgets etc.. Microsoft’s trainers will lead interactive discussions, provide helpful advice, and facilitate actual application development on the Windows Mobile platform.

At the end of it all, a winner will be selected and be eligible for prizes and special PR opportunities.

Fees: NIL.
Eligibility: All startups, whether or not you already have a mobile application today. Only requirement: that you’re planning to develop a new Windows Mobile application.
Target end result: By the end of the training, you should be able to build a Windows Mobile application.

Days 1-3: In-depth Windows Mobile 65 technical training
Days 4-6: Participants are expected to write code and finish an application.
Day 7: Application judging.

During the 7 days event, you will be treated to talks by VCs, funding agencies, device manufacturers that help you work towards your goal of building the ultimate mobile application and selling them on the Marketplace.
