Asian Business Angel Forum by BANSEA – 8-9 March 2010
January 10, 2010 by SGE
For two days in March, get to meet early-stage venture players and participants from across Asia, Europe and the US at the Asian Business Angel Forum (ABAF). Meet angel networks, investors, startup companies, policy makers, fund managers, and investment professionals courtesy of the Business Angel Network (South East Asia) (BANSEA).
Forum Objectives
At this Forum, you will have an opportunity to:
- explore cross-border investment opportunities within and beyond Asia;
- take a close-up look at the hottest start-ups in the Asian region through panels and start-up pitching sessions;
- learn from prominent angel investors such as they share strategies for successful investment in high-growth companies;
- exchange ideas with likeminded investors from across the angel investment ecosystem.
As part of the Forum agenda, leaders of the various angel groups from around the region will engage in discussions towards establishing an Asian Business Angel Network (ABAN).
Startup Pitching Sessions
Participating angels and angel groups are encouraged to invite innovative startup companies to participate in ABAF’s pitching sessions. Please send executive summaries of the companies and indicate any interest they may have in securing booth space to BANSEA’s Executive Director Ms. Jenny Law (jennylaw@bansea.org), who will follow-up with more details.
