8th Start-Up@Singapore Grand Launch

It is happening and the Grand Launch of 8th Start-Up@Singapore will begin on 26th October 2006, 10.30 am to 1 pm in Hon Sui Sen Auditorium, NUS Business School. The Guest of Honour is Mr Lee Yi Shyan, Minister of State for Trade and Industry and Chairman of ACE. In this post, we will tell you more about the programme in the coming event.

The 8th Start-Up@Singapore, our national business plan competition is about to launch in less than a week’s time. This year, we present an interesting programme for you to come and attend this significant event:

For the 8th Start-Up@Singapore, here are the programme details:
10.10 am: Registration starts & open theatre for seating
10.40 am: Emcee Announcement to invite all guests to take their seats
10.55 am: Arrival of Deputy president of NUS, Provost. Tan Chorh Chuan
11.00 am: Arrival of GOH (MOS. Lee Yi Shyan)
11.05 am: Welcome address by Dr. Lily Chan
11.10 am: GOH (MOS. Lee Yi Shyan) to give his Keynote Address.
11.15 am: 8th Start-Up@Singapore Presentation
11.30 am: Panel Discussion “Why Start-up? Why Singapore?: Entrepreneur as a Career Choice”
12.10 pm: Official opening/Grand Launch
12.15 pm: Presentation tokens of appreciation.
12.30 pm: Networking Lunch
