8th Start-Up@Singapore: Prize Awards Ceremony

Who will be the eventual winner for the 8th Start-Up@Singapore? What is the most interesting youth business plan that has taken this year’s competition by storm? Finally, the 8th Start-up@Singapore (S@S) will be holding their prize awards ceremony on 30th May 2007, at the DBS Auditorium, to announce the winners of the 2007 competition.
The guest of honour will be Mr Teo Ser Luck, Parliamentary Secretary for Community Development, Youth and Sports (MCYS), Member of Parliament for Pasir Ris-Punggol GRC and the Vice Chairman of Young PAP.
This event is expected to attract some 250 participants, including S@S participants, judges and sponsors. The ceremony will be the ideal platform to garner positive publicity about the competition, finalists and winners. More information will be coming out soon in the Start-Up@Singapore site.
This is the tentative programme for the event:
- 9.30am: Arrival of guests and media. Dissemination of media kits
- 9.55am: Arrival of GOH, Mr Teo Ser Luck
- 10.00am: Opening speech by Co-Chairman S@S
- 10.10am: Speech by GOH, Mr Teo
- 10.20am: Announcement of winners, GOH to present prizes
- 10.25am: Presentation by winner of the General Category
- 10.40am: Presentation by winner of the Youth Category
- 10.55am: End of Prize award ceremony. Tea reception for guests
