Job description overview:

The person will be responsible for the conception, design and execution of online materials for integrated campaigns including websites, web-based initiatives, social media campaigns, online advertising and digital marketing. We require someone with a solid technical understanding of Flash, HTML and CSS, a creative flair to conceive unique online ideas and execute beautiful work, and a passion for social media. Candidates must be energetic, passionate, keen to learn independently, and have at least 1 to 2 years of experience.

Requirements:

- Solid understanding of Flash, HTML and CSS
- Ability to build Flash-based website
- Ability to hand-code HTML and CSS
- Expertise in Adobe Creative Suite software, including Illustrator, Photoshop, Dreamweaver and Flash
- Experience working with programmers on web-based projects
- Understanding and passion for social media
- Ability to think through usability issues and develop user-friendly interfaces
- Excellent design sensibility and understanding of typography
- Energetic, passionate and keen to learn independently
- Strong communication skills
- At least 1 to 2 years of professional web design experience
- Additional skills and experience in using common CMS packages and designing for PHP-based and/or Ruby-based websites is a plus.
