SG Entrepreneurs is proud to present our first inaugural (and amateur) podcast. In this podcast, we interview one of our resident contributor, Bjorn Lee. He will tell us about his experiences as an intern under the NUS Overseas College (Silicon Valley) program and also explain the philosophy and the future of his current project, Entrepreneur27 (or E27).
You can subscribe to the SG Entrepreneurs Podcast via ITunes using this link, download the mp3 file or view the podcast page for the interview. The podcast is generated using GarageBand, Apple.

About Bjorn Lee: (his bios to be added later).
More about Entrepreneur27 (From their website): E27 was started in Silicon Valley in 2005.
The technology industry in Singapore is small but promising, historically, Singapore’s technology industry has been second-tier to Silicon Valley: we were best known for contract manufacturing for Silicon Valley but lagged behind in innovation. But now, with the globally available talent pool that can be sourced from anywhere because of globalization and a democratization of media where news bubbles up from small but niche blogs, can Singapore rise to the challenge since geographical boundaries are now less important?

Entrepreneur 27 in Singapore aims to be the premier event to promote this spirit of entrepreneurship amongst the young in Singapore and to explore the frontiers of this new world together. In the process, we also seek to foster closer ties between Silicon Valley and Singapore. By building this bridge, we also seek to help startups from both sides of the Pacific to quickly cross not just the chasm but also the ocean!

Do look out for the announcement soon for their next upcoming event hopefully on 17 August 2006.
