News Stop: Winners of Spirit of Enterprise Award 2006

If you did not know, the winners for the Spirit of Enterprise are out. Of course, one piece of good news, Lim Der Shing, co-founder of JobsFactory and also our resident contributor, is one of the 41 honourees this year. On behalf of SG Entrepreneurs, we congratulate him on his success. We also have the list of other winners in this post.

Before we continue, we should always tell ourselves that awards in entrepreneurship are very transient. The key is to just work hard and reap the fruits of our successes. Of course, I am also happy that two friends of mine, Saumil Nanavati (CEO, Sydus) and Arvind Agarwalla (CEO, FACT) have also won the award and also extend my congratulations to them.

For those who did not manage to get into the list of the 41 honourees, we believe that in entrepreneurship, there are no winners or losers but only people who continue to strive for excellence and create value for their enterprises. We hope that they will eventually get their awards in the following years, even if sometimes, awards do not count for much.
