JuJups.com: The world’s first 3D design & print portal is a new generation 3-D design creation gateway that allows consumers to create their own 3D content has just been launched. Through JuJups, a worldwide community of users will come together to co-create, share, and co-produce designs - designs that can be realized as real-world products.

Singapore, December 2007 –- JuJups.com is a new generation 3D design creation portal that will allow consumers to create their own 3D content. 3D printing and Rapid Manufacturing methods are now maturing into affordable and reliable technologies which are increasingly accessible to companies. Combined with online design tools, this is opening up a whole new dimension of product possibilities where products can be designed, personalized and customized by customers themselves.

The designs created in JuJups.com are currently printed out in 3D by ZCorp, a company manufacturing 3D color printing machines based in Boston, Massachusetts. JuJups will launch for Christmas this year, the world’s first online design and print portal allowing online users to create their own customized 3D picture frames.

JuJups in association with ZCorp will expand 3D printing capacity to support the growing demand for customized objects. Customized giftware, memorabilia, toys, etc will soon be added to the list of items that can be custom designed. Many companies have now created opportunities for custom-made products, such as custom printed t-shirts, mugs, magnets etc. However, the customization is mostly in 2D.

Genometri plans to move this possibility in the realm of 3D products.
