Kauffman Foundation Header

Often said to be one of the world’s largest foundations devoted to entrepreneurship, the Kauffman Foundation has just launched its first campus programme outside the United States.

The Nanyang Technological University (NTU) and Ewing Marion Kauffman Foundation have launched a Kauffman-Singapore Scholars Program where scholars from America will have the opportunity to study commercialization and entrepreneurship at NTU in Singapore.

The first 5 US scholars have been chosen.

  • what do you think of the MSc TIP program?

Guess I can answer this question relating to Kauffman-Singapore Entrepreneurship Program since I am an Alumni of the MSc TIP & have met these Kauffman Scholars recently at NTU, also on the important day when the signing of the Kauffman college took place at NTU.

Ewing Kauffman, founded the foundation with the condition to sponsor entrepreneurship education in America only. It was clever thinking of NTU to bring American Scholars to NTU instead.

Of course Nanyang Technopreneurship Center was then founded with EDB grant of 5 Million together with 2.1 Million donation from founder of NTI (predecessor of NTU), NTU Emeritus President, Prof Cham Tao-Soon. These were all awarded as Scholarship for 6 years. I was in the last batch of that Scholarship program & had the privileged of having Prof Cham as my professor too.

Right now, if any Singaporean is interested in Scholarship funding for the Msc TIP, you can take a look at SPRING Singapore Management Development Scholarship (MDS). MSc TIP was recently included in the MDS Scheme.
  • talentpreneurhub looks like a good thing no matter how you look at it.
the only area to focus on are the "teachers" "mentors" and whether they fit what you are looking for.

How about a program scholarship for Singaporeans. What about sponsoring Singaporeans like me who are seriously keen on entrepreneurship and starting up businesses?
