The successful Singapore-made social game, Battle Stations has just been translated and customized for the Chinese market. A joint venture between Singapore’s Tyler Projects and Hong Kong’s 6 Waves, the Chinese version of the hugely popular game is “Pirates of the World“, also named “

This project by two of Asia’s leading social gaming companies has already seen a great sign of the success to come. Launched only two days ago, it has already clocked 60,000 active users!

6 Waves currently has a gaming portfolio of 20 million Facebook players so Tyler Projects will be riding on an already large distribution base. Both companies have ensured that the storyline and gameplay remain true to the original but have only been customized to suit the unique gaming experience and habits of Chinese players. No details have yet been given as to what aspects were changed.
