Foound And HomeCamera Doing Singapore Proud At DEMO Fall 2010
September 15, 2010 by Gwendolyn Regina T
If you use Gmail and live in the US, you might have tried out Google’s new in-email calling service. Did you know that this technology was partially built on top of GrandCentral, a company Google acquired back in 2007? And what’s pertinent here is that GrandCentral first launched at the DEMO conference in 2006.
Since 1991, DEMO has been focused on being a platform where new upcoming technology companies launch their product to fellow conference attendees. This DEMO Fall 2010 (happening these few days) will feature a total of 70 companies from across the globe, each of which had been selected by VentureBeat and paid a fee for the right to present at the conference. Two Singapore companies, Foound and HomeCamera (aka GoToCamera and Pechora Technologies) are at DEMO Fall 2010.
Find out what Foound and HomeCamera had been up to prior to DEMO as featured on SGE:
