Daily deals aggregator AllDealsAsia’s mobile app imminent

In a hyper-competitive, crowded group buying industry in Singapore and Asia, creating a mobile app is one sure way to stand out from the crowd.

AllDealsAsia, a Singapore-based group buying deals aggregator with a presence in Southeast Asia, has done just that (screenshots below).

The company has told SGE told that their iPhone app is set to launch by early December. An Android version will follow in January/February 2012.

The app will allow users to sort deals by ‘new’, trending’, and a variety of categories. They can even check out deals for special occasions like Christmas.

AllDealsAsia is believed to be the third group buying site in Singapore to have a mobile app. Groupon Singapore started the ball rolling, and Deals.com.sg followed soon after.

But the ability to show deals from partner sites like Wego and Swoop is what sets AllDealsAsia’s app apart from the rest. It claims to be the first in Southeast Asia to have this feature.

The deals aggregator was started in August 2010 by Goh Yiping and Wayne, who are siblings. They received funding of an undisclosed sum from Iconic Ventures, an investment holding company and angel investor that funds promising startups in Singapore and Asia.

SGE will give more updates when the app is released.
