We're working on a way to do somewhat seamless integration, where the user can click on a button on the map and it will take them to the other site and display homes for sale or rental accordingly.

Peter, we do plan to expand overseas, just need to take it one step at a time. Real estate needs to be highly localized and every market is slightly different. :)

Vin,
why not place a link to homespace.sg or rentspace.sg under the top header ?

Eg Under HomeSpace.sg header banner, put statement such as
Consider Renting ? Try RentSpace.sg
In RentSpace.sg,
Consider Buying ? Try HomeSpace.sg
And when click, will open another browser tab window, in this way user can navigate between the windows.
This at least gives user a perception of integration albeit in more limited way.

Why are you guys just trying to win in the Singapore marketspace instead of focusing on the US/European Markets? Whats the potential revenue assuming you become one of the largest players in this space in SG versus becoming one of many players for US/Europe markets?

Hey Ced, actually it really depends how you slice it. We did a pretty through analysis and realized that the demographics of people looking for sales and rentals are very different. As such, it makes marketing easier, because each site has it's own target audience.

Moreover, the product features over time will evolve to suit the different segments even better. :)

im not exactly sure why they would separate rentspace.com from homespace.com. Surely both concepts can exist on the same site. Makes marketing so much tougher with 2 identities, especially against the other more established players in this space.
