If you are a fan of 37signals‘ Backpack collaborative software, having it on the go on your mobile might make things even easier. Mobrick (the team behind Common Totes and Shoplette) has just released Backpocket (iTunes), an iPhone app that “helps Backpack users access their Backpack accounts on the go with a consistent and intuitive interface that focuses on the features they use the most while on the go”.
Backpocket also lets you manage multiple Backpack accounts and supports offline editing so you can work offline and sync your changes later. You can also check out all the other extras for Backpack users. Read more
Mobrick is a web technology company that creates new ways of socialising in online networks and communities. They have produced two interesting products: (1) Zinerepublic, an easy way to create and distribute your own crowdsourced zine, where anyone can be a reader, writer and editor, create your own zine out of your own and other users’ articles, and submit articles that other editors might like to use in their zines; and (2) Shoplette, a collective shopping intelligence service you can use to tell your friends what you bought and where you bought it, and find out what your friends have bought and where they’ve been shopping. We have managed to catch Shannon Low, one of the co-founders of Mobrick to tell us the story behind their latest launch of Zinerepublic. Read more

A new web service has just turned up from Shannon Low, one of the co-founders of Shoplette.com. Shoplette is a service you can use to tell your friends what you bought and where you bought it. Check out what your friends have bought and where they’ve been shopping, discover new stuff to buy and new places to shop, and find out what’s hot and where to shop in other countries. Do check it out.
