Technology played a significant part in bringing about this fast changing world. In a simplistic way, we could summarize as follows: The advancement in Computing, Logistics and Telecommunication technology have flattened all forms of supply chain. The end result is a massive Globalization trend.

Nobody is spared. Not even us on this little red dot. To hold our place under the sun, we need to be part of the global technological thrust. We do have many of the ingredients to be successful as a viable innovator over the global technology landscape.

Drawing from his experience as the former HP general manager for the Handheld Products Division as well as the formal CEO of MediaRing, which did pioneering work in the VoIP space, Khaw will talk about the three important trends, which are fundamental to our immediate future as innovator. They are the Sharing Transaction Model in a Knowledge-Based Environment, Life at the perpetual edge of the Internet and the Third Screen. Khaw will also talk about the challenges one will face as an innovator and the joy of giving form to one’s idea. He will illustrate his talk with examples from his past works at HP and MediaRing.”
