
The Sunny Side-Up Saturday series is a new initiative by the Singapore infocomm Technology Federation (SiTF) that aims to bring like-minded entrepreneurs together to exchange ideas and share experiences with each other.
Held on the last Saturday of each month, distinguished speakers will also be invited to each session to share their thoughts and experiences.
For the first instalment, they have Roger Yuen, CEO of Clozette to share his experiences during his startup journey. Most recent of which involves the closing of a Series A funding of S$ 2.4 million (about US $1.9 million). Find out what went through his mind as Clozette progressed from a bootstrapped startup to a leading fashion community and social shopping network in Asia.

The SiTF Awards aims to promote and recognize local innovative ICT applications/solutions developed by companies and institutions in Singapore.
In 2011, there were almost 150 nominations, of which, 52 finalists were selected and 13 teams triumphed in their categories, ranging from Cloud Technology to Mobile Applications and Interactive Ideas, to clinch the top awards.
Organized by the Singapore infocomm Technology Federation (SiTF), the SiTF Awards is the perfect opportunity for startups to showcase their product and solutions to the CIOs, VCs and investors and receive insights into how IT leaders, VCs and Investors look at when determining the viability of a product/solutions. Over and above that, it is a platform for you to create awareness for your innovative product / solution.
Winners will be announced at the Awards ceremony. This year, the awards ceremony will be held in conjunction with SiTF 30th Anniversary on 30th August 2012 at Marina Bay Sands and will be attended by over 500 ICT professionals and ‘C’ level executives together.
One category startups could consider would be the Interactive Ideas Category where startups will have the chance to receive funding of up to $50K.

The Singapore infocomm Technology Federation (SiTF) and World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) Arbitration and Mediation Center will organize a talk entitled “Legally IT: Preparation for Mediation of IT Disputes” next Wednesday.
