Organizations and companies in Singapore are eligible.</p>
<p>Some of the past winners include <a href="http://sgentrepreneurs.com/tag/brandtology/">Brandtology</a>, <a href="http://sgentrepreneurs.com/tag/hungrygowhere/">HungryGoWhere</a>, and <a href="http://www.muvee.com/en/">Muvee</a>.<span id="more-35236"></span></p>
<p>Organized by the Infocomm Development Authority of Singapore <a href="http://sgentrepreneurs.com/tag/ida/">(IDA)</a> and Singapore  infocomm Technology Federation <a href="http://www.sitf.org.sg/">(SiTF)</a>, these awards aim to recognize the spirit of innovation through the development or adoption of infocomm products, services or solutions in Singapore.</p>
<p>Here are the categories: The Most Innovative Use of Infocomm Technology award for the public and private sector, including SMEs and startups. Nominees will be evaluated based on their effective use of  technology to enhance productivity or competitiveness.</p>
<p>There&#8217;s also the Most Innovative Infocomm Product/Service award category, which rewards companies in Singapore that are pushing the boundaries of technology to develop innovative infocomm products and services that benefit their customers. Entries are judged based on the product&#8217;s innovativeness and use of emerging or advanced technology.</p>
<p>Winners of the awards will be honored at a gala dinner in October 2012. Nominations close on 30th June 2012. To highlight a company for selection, head to the <a href="http://www.nia.sg/nominate-now!">NIA website</a>.</p>

The awards, organized by the Singapore infocomm Technology Federation (SiTF), recognizes innovative infocomm-technologies applications developed in Singapore.<span id="more-25376"></span></p>
<p><a href="http://y-find.com/">YFind Technologies</a>, founded a year ago, won the startup category with its indoor-positioning platform that allows applications based on it to navigate in an indoor setting. Users can find out exactly where they or their friends are in a building &#8212; a function that GPS cannot perform.</p>
<p>For the cloud technology category, the winner is software and services company <a href="http://m9online.com/">m9 Tech Solutions</a> and its flagship product, <a href="https://www.oystor.com/oystor/">Oystor</a>, a cloud-based information management software. The company was founded in June this year and has about 2,700 registered users so far.</p>

<p>Bharathi Subramanian, Principal Consultant &#8211; Embedded Division of International SQL Star, will give an overview to the architecture and key features of the Android platform. He will discuss current and future trends of Android as the Operating System for tablets and Near Field Communication devices. Bharathi will also share on the evolvement of the Android Market place and how Android is going to be used in devices beyond the mobile space! </p>
<p>Bharathi heads the embedded division in the Asia Pacific region. He bring in more than 10 years of experience in designing and developing custom embedded Linux products based on ARM, MIPS and PPC Architectures. He has worked on the design and development of software ranging from GUI applications, protocol stack, device drivers and embedded system software in various research projects and commercial telecommunication products. He is an executive committee member of Singapore-Google Technology Users Group and blogs at http://bharathi.posterous.com/.</p>
<p>Mohan (Muvee Technologies) and Dibya (ColorZip) will also share about their experience on developing on Android! </p>
