Organised by the NUS Entrepreneurship Society, the nation-wide business plan competition Start-Up@Singapore 2010 closed with a bang (literally) at its Awards Ceremony held at DBS Auditorium last week, when confetti and streamers were shot high to celebrate the victory of its champion. Start-Up@Singapore concluded its first ever 24 Hour Biz Plan Challenge last weekend. Held overnight at the NUS Business School, it was intended for those who wanted the experience of developing a business plan in the shortest time frame possible. The event saw 33 teams of 110 participants in total fighting to keep awake while absorbing as much as they could about entrepreneurship in 24 hours. Read more

After 3 intense rounds of judging over a period of 8 months, the winners of Start-Up@Singapore 2009 were revealed at the Awards Ceremony on 30 May 2009.
Open Category winner, Zimplistic with their winning invention of the Rotimatic walked away with $40,000. Winner of the Youth Category, E-Thermnity won $10,000 with their baby milk bottle that changes colour according to the temperature of their content. Read more
