WaveSecure Launches Globally Today

WaveSecure

Previously available only in India, Pakistan and Singapore and only through telcos and manufacturers, WaveSecure will be made available globally and directly to consumers today, 4th July! International consumers who had been waiting for their local telco and phone manufacturer to offer WaveSecurve will be able to obtain the product directly from tenCube now.

Having worked with organizations and companies such as the Singapore Police Force, IDA, Nokia, Telenor, Cisco and won several awards, tenCube’s WaveSecure has been making waves globally, but have never been available to much of this global audience.

Previously only a relatively small audience had been able to use WaveSecure as it had been offered only to lucky consumers who happen to be living in the certain countries and who were using certain handsets.

This move to open up the software to global audiences will surely lead to an exponential growth for WaveSecure. Its numerous awards (Frost & Sullivan, Red Herring, University of California – Berkeley) and press coverage means that many around the world would have probably heard of WaveSecure and have been itching to get it for themselves.

(Update: tenCube was recently one of the winners at the NAVTEQ Global LBS Challenge!)

Their strategy is a good one, focus on a few core markets, solidify their presence there and at the same time keep the rest of the world waiting with bated breath. The hype will surely work in tenCube’s favour as it opens up WaveSecure now.

“All good things come to those who wait.”

WaveSecure is also looking for 50 “Champions” – beta testers for the latest version. If you want to have bragging rights as part of the development process of one of the leading mobile security products in the world, email champions@tencube.com to request for an invitation to the programme.

By the way, non-Singtel users in Singapore do not have access to WaveSecure as it is offered exclusively by Singtel. If you’re a Singtel user, dial *7233 to get PHONESafe.

It’s time for WaveSecure to make truly global waves.
