SmartLoans Has Launched!

When we first covered SmartLoans back in February, Vin the founder promised me that SmartLoans will be launched within two weeks. In the meanwhile, March passed without much fanfare and now’s April, and they’ve finally launched the site! Now all those who have waiting eagerly for this first-of-its-kind mortgage comparison platform can try the system out.
Developed by The Real Group, SmartLoans is a free-to-use online mortgage comparison platform that enables users to easily search, compare and enquire about home loan packages available across 8 different banks.

Although the economic situation has had a dampening effect on the home buying scene, The Real Group have adapted their business model and developed new revenue-generating activities. More importantly, SmartLoans provides real value to its users,” said Prof Wong Poh Kam, Director of the NUS Entrepreneurship Centre, which is incubating The Real Group.

Apart from SGE, Gwen is also a Partner at Thymos Capital, where she focuses on early stage investments in technology firms.
