Few of you might know, but Mr. Tweet has a nationality. Well, not exactly, but one of the founders is a Singaporean! Ming Yeow was one of my colleagues in the NUS Overseas College Programme to Silicon Valley and he is based there now.

If you have trouble deciding who you should follow on Twitter, Mr. Tweet can help you do that. Mr. Tweet is like your own personalized Alexa-like ranking system for Twitter, and more.

Problem

With more and more people going onto Twitter, it’s harder to decide who to focus your Twitterttention-span on. So many tweets, most of it noise. Who do you follow? Who do you unfollow?

Idea

A way to easily identify the 20% of the people whom you spend 80% of your attention and time on.

Solution

Mr. Tweet aims to help you do three things: (1) Get more relevant followers (2) Discover great people to follow (3) Check out your Twitter usage statistics.

Thus far, Mr. Tweet remains a free service for you and I. One obvious direction Mr. Tweet can take is to go down the freemium route so for power users who need to delve more deeply into the statistics and insights Mr. Tweet offers, you’ll have to pay for it.

They also have a popular blog that has Twitter tips and tricks for you and your brand to succeed and grow on Twitter.
