Our vision is to provide a global community platform with relevant applications for both health care providers and consumers, leveraging the capabilities of web 2.0, social network concepts. By connecting key stakeholders in the health industry, we intend to enable health care professionals to improve quality and cost; minimize clinical and administrative waste; improve clinician productivity; inform and thereby, empower consumers to make informed decisions; and to trigger insights that can lead to innovations.

We will achieve our vision by developing and providing Sambaash MediCafé, a health care community application that would be deployed on our sambaash 2.0 platform architected for community applications.

Sambaash MediCafé will be launched across the globe in phased manner, focusing on regions in which the need of such a community platform for health care is being appreciated. Eventually, sambaash MediCafé will be hosting a global community of health care providers and consumers, to be based out of Singapore.

Background:

• Diploma/Degree in Computer Science, IT or equivalent
• Good interpersonal and communication skills
• Self-motivated, dependable, good team player and result driven
• Singaporean/Singapore PR are preferred

Requirements:
• Minimum of 4 to 5 years experience in application development and support in JAVA/J2EE technology
• Development experience with J2EE/Open source frameworks – Struts, MVC, Spring, Hibernate, J2SE, JSP, Servlet, JDBC, JavaScript, XML, HTML
• Typical J2EE design patterns & Performance Tuning
• Involved in design and develop technology framework to promote standardization, plug-able and reusability.
• Possess hand-on experience in the following areas:
# Languages: Java, J2EE, JavaScript Script, Ajax technologies
# Architecture – Should have basic knowhow of distributed systems, search engine usage, Web centric design architecture, Web2.0 principles and Workflow
# IDE – Eclipse or NetBeans
# Operating System – Linux, Ubuntu, Solaris 10
# Databases – MySQL, CloudDB, any other document centric XML databases
# Frameworks – Spring, Hive, Hadoop
# CMS – Drupal, Joomla
• Sound knowledge of Cloud Computing, SaaS, infrastructure components including network servers and storage technologies would be an advantage
• Good competency in using modeling and object-oriented analysis/design methodologies for requirement analysis, system design and quality requirement analysis.
• Good understanding of web development tools, methodologies and practices will be an advantage.
• Familiar with JBOSS or GlassFish app server

Requirements:

• Minimum of 2 years experience in application development and support in JAVA/J2EE technology
• Familiar with J2EE/Open source frameworks, Struts, MVC, Spring, Hibernate, J2SE, JSP, Servlet, JDBC, JavaScript, XML, HTML with JBOSS or GlassFish app servers
• Involved in design and develop technology framework to promote standardization, plug-able and reusability.
• Possess hand-on experience in the following areas:

o # IDE – Eclipse or NetBeans
o # Frameworks – Spring, Hive

Requirements:

• At least 2 to 3 years of web design and development experience using JAVA/J2EE technology
• Experience with frameworks such as JSF, AJAX, XHTML, Flex, Flash, Streaming, PHP, Flex, Open Source UI development tools such Laszlo & Dojo
• Possess hand-on experience in the following areas:
o # Technologies: web2.0 – JavaScript, XML, JSON, xHTML, CSS, Gimp / Photoshop, Enterprise Portal, Flash / Flex, Web 2.0
o # IDE – Eclipse or NetBeans
o # Frameworks – Spring, AJAX framework
o # W3C Compliance and Cross Browser Compatibility (required)
• Must be well versed in the standard web technologies such as xHTML, CSS, and JavaScript, and Photoshop & in the principles and implementation of Usability and User Experience designs.
• Good understanding of web development tools, methodologies and practices is a must
• Must be able to produce mockups and wireframes, transform the mockups and wireframes into clickable prototypes, then ultimately develop the prototypes into a full implemented project
• Must be able to design according to templates and developed with Open source Enterprise Portals
• Familiar with Social CMS frameworks like Drupal, Joomla will be preferred.
