Interesting! Last year, here in Singapore, my wife and I saw a presentation on the yet-to-be-constructed Chicago Spire - an ultra-tall condo building. They offered a feature that would allow you to see an extrapolated approximate view from any apartment in the building - a very powerful feature for an uncompleted building. I would imagine that the views were taken from a 360 degree camera assembly mounted on a balloon, but I am not sure about that. This would seem to be another application for this technology. Probably someone already doing it, but I have not seen it in any showrooms yet.
